US | NZ Council Welcomes Hon. Tim Groser as New Zealand Ambassador to the US
Thanks Rt Hon Mike Moore for his Leadership
Washington, DC—December 7, 2015–The United States | New Zealand Council welcomes Hon. Tim Groser to Washington, DC as the next New Zealand Ambassador to the US.
Council Chairman Edward Farrell congratulated Minister Groser on the appointment and achieving a successful conclusion to the Trans Pacific Partnership negotiations (TPP). “His appointment as Ambassador comes as U.S. – New Zealand relations are the best they’ve been in 30 years – and have now entered a new era with the TPP. I can think of no better choice than Minister Groser for this position. We look forward to working with him in the years ahead to bring U.S. – New Zealand relations to even higher levels of success.”
Chairman Farrell also extended his warm wishes and lasting gratitude to the Ambassador, Rt Hon Mike Moore after his highly successful tenure. “As a partner to the US|NZ Council,” he said, “Ambassador Moore has been second-to-none. We are proud to have been his friend and ally.”
