“This year’s Pacific Partnership Forum was a success at every level, and
demonstrated that the US-NZ relationship has evolved and grown to a new level.
Congratulations to the US|NZ Council for hosting such an important event.”

Screen Shot 2013-06-19 at 4.28.41 PMFor 27 years, the United States | New Zealand Council has promoted a strong US-NZ relationship based on shared interests.  Thanks to the bilateral, bipartisan work of many in government and the private sector, today’s most often repeated phrase is “US-NZ relations are the best they’ve been in decades.”

So, “What’s next?”  New Zealanders and Americans have always shared an affinity for discovery that keeps us looking beyond the horizon.  Innovation and leadership are in our nations’ DNA.

The 2013 US-NZ Pacific Partnership Forum was designed with this common future-looking heritage at its core.  In an open setting, this year’s event brought together more than 300 thought leaders from government, business, academia and non-profit groups – and nearly 50 “Future Partners” composed of students and young professionals.  The result: candid, courageous dialogue and renewed collaboration.

The 2013 Forum was a milestone.  It helped define, develop and deliver the next bilateral agenda – and the next generation of New Zealand and American leaders.
