LanzaTech has won yet another award for its clean technology.
22 May 2012 | New Zealand company LanzaTech has won an award in the TiE50 for entrepreneurship, innovation and management excellence for the second year in a row.
The awards, which were part of TiEcon 2012, were presented in Santa Clara, California. The 50 winners were chosen from over 2100 companies in software, internet, mobile, energy and life sciences.
Dr Jennifer Holmgren, chief executive officer at LanzaTech, said the company was honored to be recognized for the second time.
“Our revolutionary carbon capture technology challenges our current perception of waste and provides a novel route to sustainable fuels and chemicals,” she said. “LanzaTech has the potential to be a key player in enabling energy democratization – that is, offering solutions for affordable and accessible energy for all.”
